PRIVACY TRAINING
This training provides participants with an overview of the Privacy Act for those who are not familiar with it, as well as those that deal with people?s private information on a daily basis. The training has also been designed to set straight when and when you cannot share people?s private information.

What you will learn
The training will cover
? key concepts and definitions
? understanding the information privacy principles
? applying the information privacy principles
? interface with the Official Information Act
? sound work practices
? disclosing health information
? applying the health information privacy rules
? the Health Act
? access to information
? security of information
? all of this within the context of family violence.
Date: Friday 14th May
Time: 10:00am ? 2:00pm
Venue: Mokoia Room, Level 2, Work and Income/MSD, Pukuatua Street, Rotorua
Cost: $10 (for non members) and $5 (for members)
