Youth Volunteering Workshop

One of the national events being planned for Volunteer Awareness Week is a one day workshop at which a group of young people (up to 20 in all) and representatives of non-profit organisations (about 10) will brain storm about ways to get more young people to volunteer and create the culture shifts in organisations for this to happen. The exact date is being finalised and will be on the Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday of Volunteer Awareness Week (20 - 26 June).

The workshop will be in Wellington, and Volunteering NZ have indicated they will support young people from other areas to get there.
