Break Away - Rangatahi Adventure Challenge - Holiday Programmes

Te Waiariki Purea Trust are providing 'Break Away' holiday programmes over summer.

The target group for these programmes are 11 - 17 year olds of either gender from low decile areas, who would not normally attend a school holiday programme.

Enrolments will target a maximum of 20 participants per week / programme. The programmes will run regardless of weather conditions. The programmes will run from Mondays - Fridays, from 9am - 4pm.

The programmes will be based in the Rotorua District, particularly Lakes Okareka / Rotoiti / Okataina / Tarawera and Pukepoto. Activities may include: Waka paddling, Kayaking, Mau Rakau, Abseiling, Orienteering, Bushcraft, Team Building challenges, Swimming and Recreation, Exploration of historic sites.

Dates :
1) December 20 - 24 (for 11yrs - 13yrs)
2) January 10 - 14 (for 11yrs - 13yrs)
3) January 17 - 21 (for 14yrs - 17yrs)
4) January 24 - 28 (for 14yrs - 17yrs)
