Forum - Child/Youth Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Service Continuum Project

Contribute to a discussion to identify effective solutions for tamariki/rangatahi with drug and alcohol problems in the Rotorua District.

If you have views about what drug and alcohol services for children, adolescents and families should look like please come along to a Forum on Wednesday 9th March from 3.00 â?? 5.00 pm, Committee Room 2, Rotorua District Council, facilitated by Dr. Vicki Barratt (independent contractor) as part of a Lakes DHB-funded review.

Following a number of stakeholder interviews, and collation of previous feedback from similar forums held over the past few years (see 2008 summary attached), now is the time to consider a range of possible solutions and generate innovative ideas. Vicki will present some of the ideas for service provision generated so far and will be looking for comments and possible alternatives. This is your chance to feed back to the DHB Funders and Planners and help shape service provision for the future.

If you get a chance before the Forum to have a look at what people were saying in 2008 (see attached summary), we can quickly review what has changed for 2011 so more time can be spent focusing on the solutions.
