Youth Fashion Show

The Kawerau Youth Council is currently planning an extravaganza of dance, music and fashion. The show is to celebrate youth and create a rare chance for budding designers and seamstresses to show off their talent and work.

The Kawerau Youth Council would like to invite you to participate in our

YOUTH FASHION SHOW on Saturday 25th June. This event is open to anyone 24yrs and under and currently residing within the Bay of Plenty. We would like to encourage schools to enter a garment into each category.
Garments will be judged and the winners will be announced at the end of the Saturday evening show. Prizes will be awarded for individual categories with an overall winner receiving the grand prize.

There is a total prize pool of

$1,000.00 up for grabs.
Designers are required to supply their own model.

Hair and Make-up artists will be available to the entrants at the two Saturday showings. Designers can utilise these professionals to enhance the image they wish to portray.

Registration is $10.00 per garment, this entry includes 2 free tickets to the Saturday night Show.

Registrations close 31st May. You can enter as many times as you like.
