Reminder - Alcohol and other drug harm minimisation workshop - Sam Programme

Further to the recent news of an alcohol-related death of a school student in Auckland over weekend, a reminder that Red Cross are running 'Sam', a programme for youth and those who work with youth about drugs and alcohol and their effects on the Central Nervous System. The programme aims to give young people knowledge about the effects of different types of drugs, and the confidence to know when to call for help.

The programme is free, and will be held at the Red Cross Service Centre on:
Thursday, 23 June from 1pm - for young people
Friday 24 June 9am on the 24th - for those who work with young people
