This event will be held at Te Papaiouru Marae, Tamatekapua, Ohinemutu from Thursday 21 to Saturday 23 July 2011 (during July School Holidays).

Rangatahi will take part in a two and a half-day hui to think about their future and contributing to Te Arawa's development. The programme will be delivered in a youth friendly format that combines: whanaungatanga, tikanga maori, youth development principles, personal development and futures thinking.

The gathering is for rangatahi from Nga Uri o Te Arawa (descended from a Te Arawa ancestor) who are aged between 15 to 24 years.

The programme will include: Te Arawa guest speakers;workshops, an amazing race a hakari and a social event.
