About the workshop:
Neglect and abuse during the early years can result in a lifetime of lost potential.
Understanding how the brain develops in the early years assists to understand about the functioning of the mature brain. The foundations are laid in the early years, and how these are laid can impact profoundly on later behaviours and thinking.
This information is important in understanding how we can make a change to the future of Aotearoa, and ensure all our tamariki get the opportunity to develop their full potential. To break the cycle we need to intervene at all stages and ages, and this presentation can give you the information you need.
This is an interactive workshop with plenty of time for question and answer discussions.
Further information and a registration form are attached.
