Young Leaders - Opportunity to visit Japan

The Director General for Policies on Cohesive Society, Cabinet Office, Japan,
invites young leaders in non-government organizations (NGOs) aged between 23 and 40 years to participate in the 2011/2012 Young Core Leaders of Civil Society Groups' Development Programme.

The programme involves the exchange of young leaders from Japan, who are active in the areas of older people, youth or disability, with young leaders in Denmark, Germany and New Zealand. Young leaders from NGOs in these countries are invited to Japan to develop skills and establish networks between Japan and their countries.

Nine young leaders from Japan, interested in disability issues, will visit New
Zealand in October 2011.

Expressions of interest are invited for 13 young leaders, with a minimum of
three years work experience in the areas of older people, youth or disability,
from New Zealand to visit Japan for ten days In February 2012.
