Vacancy - Teen Services Specialist - Rotorua District Library

Rotorua District Library is looking for someone with a positive and outgoing personality who can relate to the 12 â?? 18 year old age group and who has the patience and enthusiasm to nurture a special relationship with the youth of Rotorua.

The successful candidate will have the skills to plan the space and the collections for TeeNZown, organise and create displays, plan and manage events and liaise with schools and community groups. A relevant tertiary qualification and a well-rounded knowledge of young adult literature are essential for this position. A good sense of humour would also be a plus!
In addition, the successful applicant will be required to perform general library duties which will include rostered desk shifts, shelving and shift supervision, and work as part of a larger team. Hours will include evening and weekend shifts.
