Save-a-Mate (SAM) Programme - Book Now for 2012

Red Cross are starting to take 2012 bookings for their SAM programme.

New Zealand Red Cross developed the save-a-mate (SAM) Alcohol and Other Drug Emergencies Course to reduce alcohol and other drug related harm in young people.

SAM is offered on the understanding that, right or wrong, young people will often decide to use alcohol and other drugs. While New Zealand Red Cross won't say ''do'' or ''don't'' to these decisions, we believe it is critical to provide information to assist young people to make informed choices about their alcohol and other drug use.

The course is offered at NO CHARGE to non-profit organisations, schools and youth organisations
