Save-a-mate (SAM) is an interactive workshop that teaches young people alcohol and other drug knowledge and first aid in relation to alcohol and other drug emergencies, and the courage to know when to call for help. New Zealand Red Cross developed the save-a-mate (SAM) Alcohol and Other Drug Emergencies Course to reduce alcohol and other drug related harm in young people.
Red Cross are running a Save-a-mate (SAM) session for people who working with young people: this is a run-through of the SAM programme so you can find out what the programme entails.
It will be held on: 5 April, 2pm. SAM is run as a 90 minute programme. Rotorua Service Centre, NZ Red Cross
There will be a maximum of 25 places so you will need to book in please.
