Vocational Pathways for Secondary Students

» 27/03/2012, Posted by Site Admin

The Industry Training Federation (the member organisation for ITOs) has been developing Vocational Pathways. One of the intended outcomes of this work is increasing the number of secondary students leaving school with NCEA level 2 (the level required for a basic apprenticeship)

Vocational Pathways are identified in five groups of industries:
- Manufacturing and Technology
- Construction and Infrastructure
- Primary Industries
- Social and Community Services
- Service Industries.
