E Oho Project
» 24/11/2008, Posted by Ariana SmithE Oho Project is an exciting new initiative supported by RDC & Te Waiariki Purea Trust.
E Oho is a working relationship with the Fordlands, Western Heights and Koutu communities to bring forth the voice of their youth. Youth in their respective community groups will work on a project throughout the duration of E Oho. These projects will enhance the community in such a way that other young people in the neighbourhood will benefit from the work achieved through E Oho aswell. The Youth Development Worker will provide guidance and mentoring through workshops & weekend camps.
Young people involved can expect to develop leadership skills while overloading with adrenalin & fun, gaining credits in the National Cert in Youth Work (Lvl 3).
Your ideas and korero are welcome
