Community Event re Addiction and Substance Abuse

Pat Buckley, CEO of Amped 4 Life Trust, is hosting an invitation Community Event at the Rotorua Council Chambers in the Rotorua District Council Building, Level 1 on Wednesday 24th June, 2009, from 7pm-9pm.

The invitation is open to parents and whanau of young people, Youth workers and Social Workers, Health Professionals, Teachers and School Counsellors or Relationship Counsellors who are interested in social issues for Young People.

Pat Buckley is a Drug and Alcohol Educator with first hand experience of addiction and substance abuse. He is currently delivering a series of 5 presentations in 7 secondary schools in the Rotorua District to young people in Year 9 and Year 10; 13-15 year olds.

Youth service providers are encouraged to display their resources in the Rotorua District Council galleria on level one of the Council Building.
